Detail Design

This transceiver module has three functional blocks. They are transmitter circuit, receiver circuit and MCU. Transmitter circuit consists of laser driver and laser. Receiver circuit consists of PIN-TIA and limiting amplifier. The MCU ADUC7020 controls the driver through I²C and provides I²C interface to host board. The host MCU can read the Diagnostic Monitoring data through I²C interface.

The transmitter and receiver include the 1310nm DFB transmitter and a 1260nm~1620nm receiver. It’s can transmit the 1310nm wavelength optical signal. The receiver is the highly integrated photoelectric component, including a high-speed PIN and a transimpedance amplifier with a higher sensitivity.
